Following last year’s well received party at Caerphilly’s Big Cheese Festival, walking and cycling charity Sustrans return to this weekend’s event with a line-up of top notch musical entertainment.
The free event will feature performances from the School, Bleeding Noses, Tom Lukas, the Brwmys, Julia Harris, K2 Reggae and some local rock ‘n’ roll impersonators. And if that’s not enough to get you running to Caerphilly Castle, how about some live street dance from Rhian’s Dancers, chances to test Cycle Training Wales’ brand new MTB track (with free bike hire) and, perhaps best of all, the facilities to pedal power your own fruit smoothy!
The Big Cheese festival is a free annual event where over 50 Welsh producers gather to sell their delicious cakes, wine, liquers, sweets, chocolate, cheese, pickles and much more.
You can join Sustrans from 11 – 5 on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July at Dafydd Williams Park which is located to the side of Caerphilly Castle.
