Last Friday saw the cream of Cardiff’s acoustic scene gathered for an evening of exemplary songwriting, all to raise money for anti-poverty charity Action Aid. Cardiff-based TOM.presents put the whole shebang on; a promoter whose explicit aim is ‘to raise shed loads of cash for charity and enjoy some quality music.’ And who could argue with the worth in that?
Kait Mordey was there to take some pictures of all the acts: up and coming singer-songwriter Luci Eliza Vernon; Cardiff acoustic scene stalwart the Gentle Good; folksy vocal trio Barefoot Dance of the Sea; and Radio 2-endorsed headliner Sion Russell Jones.
